Volunteering Opportunities
Description
From the very beginning the Ravenscliffe Community Association has been a volunteer lead organisation, we have a wide range of opportunities here at The Gateway. Volunteering can be a brilliant way to make new friends, gain skills and confidence and of course to put something back into the community. We have two dedicated volunteer support workers to help you, so you won’t be on your own. Work placements for teenagers are also available so you can gain experience in the work place. If you are interested in volunteering please pop into The Gateway and talk to one of our volunteer programme workers Janet and Gemma.

Cafe
Bingo
Food Co-op
Marketing and publicity
Gardening and maintenence
Working with younger children through Sure Start groups
Lunch group for the seniors
Also, new opportunities are arising all the time, if the above do not suit at present. So just call in for a chat and we can advise.
