Urban Dance and Creative Arts NEW CLASSES starting
Be part of a new exciting project going off in your area. This programme will help you get fit and in shape and show off your potential, through dance.
The project offers workshops in contemporary, contemporary technique, contemporary (Martha Graham), contemporary (Cunningham), contemporary (Release), jazz dance, musical theatre,improvisation, improvisation (getting stuck in).
These classes are aimed at young people aged 11 to 16 so if you are younger than 11 then you might not get as much out of the programme. This programme would be particularly suited to students at GCSE level.
There are classes to suit all ages but please be aware that those wanting to attend who study GCSE or are going into A-Level or just wanting to top up their skills, this will not be easy ! as you will be treated in a professional manner. There is a small weekly fee of £2 per class to help cover the costs. For a limited time there are discount promotion vouchers available on reception.
we expect all student taking part in this project to attend in full dance wear if possible.

SNOW ADVICE !!!!!!
The Car Park at the Gateway is extremely icy subsequently from the 5th January 2010 until further notice we are closing the carpark for access with cars. We will be keeping the side path gate open and are advising our users to park on Ravenscliffe Avenue and use the front steps which will be gritted.
We would like to advise you that Thackeray Road is extremely icy in both directions and we do not advise people wanting to access the Gateway to use this route.
If for any reason we have to close any of the services staff at the Gateway will contact users directly and we will post a message on the website.
